Welcome to Land For The People! My vision for this site is to inspire people to preserve vast amounts of wild and natural land in perpetuity. Have you ever been to a local planning board meeting? You can have a voice in local land use by participating in meetings of governing and advising bodies. These bodies craft ordinances that govern land subdivision and zoning. They review and approve (or deny) applications made to develop land. Perhaps you would like a seat on your local planning commission?
